Results and charges

Hi,

To check the results, it is best to throw it in your own demo account and let it run. Then you can see for yourself how it behaves. I believe this is much more valuable to you than me just reporting how I did.

I do not believe in charging for something up front. It will run in any demo account FREE. Each month I will load a new version on my personal site that will replace the current one. Again - FREE...

Take care,
Bill

Stops

Muddguy,

Is it possible for you to add a Stop Loss parameter for those that want to use Stops.

Regards,

Ariot!

Stops are in the program!

Hi,

The CheckGRID EA has stops built in already that can be used.

The Correlator EA should not use stops - that would certainly cause losses and that is bad. Instead, managing drawdowns in that program should be done by adjusting the ratio of the pairs, or in the event of a catostrophic move in one currency, by a counterbalancing trade.

Take care,

bill

Backtesting?

I don't see how to backtest it reliably, either.

Grab the new version, and run it in a demo account for a month to get your own feel for how it work. It is free to do that.

BTW, I like the GBPUSD the best, but others use different currencies.

Take care,
Bill

backtest

Hey Guys,
Been following this thread for a while. I mean no disrespect to any members but you guys are so dense! The back test for this ea will not be acuate! Bill gives you the freakin ea to demo for the month but you guys are still not satisfied! The ea captures every price movment of the markret in real time. It is almost impossible to backtest ! As I said it uses the price as the indicator, not bar length, macd or any other indicator. It is a simple order placing robot, once you understand this you will be able use it wisely.

Why sell an EA that captures every price movement in real time?

More stuff on grid trading

Hi all,

Yes - back testing is not accurate in this kind of system. It requires no indicators and can be used in any time window.

Yes - it is free to demo for as long as one likes. I post a new version on my personal website each month for this and the correlator. I made 13% on my account with the correlator EA last month with REAL money in a couple minutes a day, fyi.

Some people have trouble downloading the new versions each month. They are also posted in my yahoo group for my trading club. http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/grou...ficforexgroup/. If you join the group, they are easy to download, as well as files explaining grid strategy in detail. Nothing fancy with the group. I send an email to the group once a month or so and there are a few links as well as my files. It is a convenient communication tool for me, not a discussion group. There are plenty of those elsewhere.

I apologize that I sometimes forget to post the new versions here. I get busy...

Take care,
Bill

Selling an EA

I'm not sure I understand the question. Why not sell it? It's purpose is to automate a trading system that gets very tedious done manually.

Take care,
Bill
