I've made a small upgrade to the C4 correlation program. It now offers a trailing stop feature that can be used instead of or in combination with the existing take profit feature.
The update is on my yahoo site. The FAQ is also updated to include it.
I ran the Hammer grid all week. Set-up was bi-directional with the goal of letting it run untouched and see how it would do with closing out and recentering the grid. I also wanted to see how it would behave through NFP, which can be a small grid killer with it's volatility.
The good news is that the Hammer came out of the week with approx 16% real gain. I opened the week in cash, and closed the week in all cash again. I could have easily closed out the robot before NFP as the grid was in a very good position. In fact, I will probably do that before any large news event. If the NFP had been a straight run in one direction, the Hammer still would have net around 14% for the week.
The bad news is that only three people expressed any interest in licensing this program, so it will not be released at this point.
Thats a shame that only three interested in using the hammer robot, sorry but obviously I have been lacking in reading recently as that is the first time I have seen it mentioned.
That robot sounds ideal, as I am manually recentering the grid using the checkgrid according to my perceptions oif the market. That has stood me in good stead running the demo account, but could have been better, and a robot to take care of that for me sounds ideal. I have made an average of 2.6% per day over the last 4 weeks using the above method.
If you have another person interested in licensing the hammer would that be sufficient or do you need more?
