Hello, I'm very intressted in both of your EA and like to forward testing them on an alpari demo account. I started out with Correlator but it seems I can't get it to work. Or get it to start a order. Could you please help me? Or someone else so I can get the correct configuration so I can make this work on monday?
First let me explain what I did.

1. First I opened up a GBPJPY chart and attach the Correlation 1.6 EA to the chart.
2. Then I checked allow live trading.
3. Change the first currency pair to GBPJPY and other settings according to the faq sample setting.
I can't find the swaptradesize or swaptradefreq thou.
4. changed the tradefreq to 1, what size should max lot size be?
5. What's the recommended leverage, starting budget?
6. What have I missed to get the program autotrading? will the program start an order automatically at all? I do have the smiley face.

Alot of newbie questions but I just found out about metatrader yesterday so I really am a newbie.

A few quick answers.

1. Go to version 1.7.
2. Alpari is funky. You need to set the default setting to allow live trading - it is under Tools>Options>Expert Advisors.
3. It is now TradeFreq and Addlots. I missed updating that part of the FAQ. Those settings are for ongoing additional positions.
4. MaxLots is the maximum exposure you want in that trade. How many lots is that? NOTE - leaving this at zero will prevent the program from running.
5. Leverage and exposure is a personal issue, as well as account size. I like low risk - see my FAQ and recent posts on my 25% goal. This works on any account size. You can start with any amount.

Thank you for the response. I just got started with forex and it seems alot more exciting than stocks. Been reading nonstop for 6hour a day try to learn as much as possible. But I gonna try to avoid trading for real for few month to learn more about trading.

Alpari doesn't have the CHFJPY?!
Maybe that's why a order is never executed.

Switched to GBPUSD and USBCHF, it starts now and have placed order. Time to get sleep and let the machine do the work.

Right click on the market view window and select all. CHFJPY is now there. Magical, ain't it?

Any strategy how to select when to enter a market? So far using two pair have resultet 800dollar down. Earlier in the morning there was a 150dollar profit before I went to work thou.

Yeah - first, leverage low to protect your account. The point is to earn/compound swap with the occasional TP event. Second, go in incrementally over a few weeks. Third, go to my yahoo site and download the three docs on correlation trading and also read this thread from the start. There are bits in it that may help.
