Is it possible to attach just the filter indicator as an mq4? Thanx in advance
I'm using the excalibur filter as an indicator to another strategie that i'm testing. Just open a new chart window and then double click on the indicator (not the EA) it worked with me just with the ex4.
I loaded your expert, indicator and summery report, but they crash my platform and it closes automatically. Could you help? Thanks!
Might want o defrag your machine perhaps. Everything runs in upper memory and I have not had any reports of this other than a few broker platforms that crash using the Ea for no reason.

I have it running on an IBFX full account (100k) and it worked fine. I also have it on a IBFX mini with 3k and it also works fine. Just a thought about the inability to open a trade since I am fairly new to Forex, Metatrader and IBFX. I know somebody that tried this on a Forex dot com metatrader account and it didn't work. He was told that they do not allow mico lots (shrug). The ea is taking 0.01 lots. Just a thought. Maybe Bernard will advise though.

Edward the final version will allow larger lots but for this testing here I have to keep it down to where it is currently or we will be opening demo accounts all the time.

I need more testing on the 30m chart and I am seeing the USD/JPY as being a currency we might eliminate here.

Do you have an answer to the several who have posted (including me) about getting errors in opening trades? You suggested an account size of 3,000 -- but never said it must be 3,000. Does that mean your EA will not work on larger accounts, or 5 digit brokers, or others with symbol suffixes besides IBFX's "m"?
Account should be at least 3k but the test is here for those traders that will go live somewhere down the road and do not have more than 3k to drop into an account so I thought that using a standard 3k account on all tests would provide a better look at performance for the smaller investor.
The final version will allow for any size lots and the other traders that have more to invest in live trading can adjust acccordingly.
