I've decided I'm going to purchase the EA when my demo is done. But I get one copy hardcoded to one account. Right now I'm using IBFX and I'm not certain I want to stay with them, so I'd like to switch before purchasing the official release. What do people think about the different brokers? I was kind of looking alpari. I would like to get people's input. And Phoenix...maybe you could tell me what broker, not recommend one, but what broker you'd use if you were setting up a new account for yourself now.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
Bernard, I have a question about the Excalibur_filter.In one post you said you can attach it to a chart and then trade manually when you get a signal. My question is what type of signal do you get? I don't see a pop up or alert parameter.I have included an image of a 1 min chart with filter. The TF might be too low.I do see the green arrows and red arrows.I guess you buy when you see the green and sell when you see the red arrows. But on the 1 min chart it seems that if you see the distance between the green and red arrows, they are not always at a profit?
Thanks again for all the work. exfilter.doc
I'm apologize if this has all be covered but I've been out of the loop a bit...been very busy with work. Has there been any news in the beta testing of camelot. I really don't want to miss that.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Excalibur filters is programmed to work with Excalibur V3* and trading it since I have updated it, manually is a bit risky.
Having said this NEVER use it on less than a 30 m chart.

Thanks for the support and the question.
I prefer IBFX and am moving all my accounts to them shortly.
I have accounts on several other brokers and as an example this morning the GBP/USD fired on IBFX for a gain of over 100pips while FXDD did not even fire the pending trades. WOuld have never took the good trade if I had not been on IBFX. I have nothing to do with IBFX, not sure I like or dislike them, however they are an American based broker and to me that speaks a lot of volume.
Hope this helps

Important note to everyone. I will be releasing the sale link very soon. Pre-registration for the published sales link has reached 450 so when it hits 500 I will publish the sales link, then remove it once all sales have been finalized.
I will still be releasing demo versions of Excalibur v3* as I upgrade , which is quite often, but the demo's will no longer trade any live accounts only demo accounts. I have been more than fair, by allowing all members to trade either on a demo or live without having to pay anything, in an effort to allow some to actually make some free money, and perhaps use it towards a purchase of the Excalibur V3* system.
What if I want to use MM on a $500 or $1,000 account? will it keep the trades to .01 or so? Or is this risking it and maybe I should turn MM off and put max trades at .01 or .02 for now.
Turn on MM and set lot size for a small account $500.00 to 0.01 or 0.05
on a $1,000.00 account turn on MM and set lot size to 0.1
Demo expires February 28 2009 so please keep this in mind if you are placing it on a live account.
Hello Bernard,
You are using IBFX as I am, so am I stating a mistake when I say, I should of also had a trigger on the same pair if we are using the same broker. Also could the difference be in what version of the ea you are using. Is the demo version the same as the commerical one hard coded with your name?
Reason I am asking is I have the demo version as well as one coded with my name. Now on the demo version the broker time profit shows, but that is not updated on the hard coded one with my name.
With all these different versions it is getting confusing on trying to do a control test. Also some are using 300,some 5000.00 etc.
Just getting a little frustrated trying to find the best combination of parameters to use. Also when money management is turned on, does this over ride all the parameters such as gap etc.I see on some pairs you use a different gap.
Thanks
Vince
