We have tested and tested different brokers, and I have continually stated clearly, that IBFX has proven to best the most stable for the Excalibur program.
Still, I am receiving e-mail after e-mail that the Excalibur V3 is giving different results on different brokers.
Please read through the entire thread here before sending me questions related to other brokers, I have seen several other automated trading programs being been sold by several companies and they have stated clearly that is is to be used on one broker only.
There is a reason for this.
We have done a lot of testing here over and over, data has flowed in over the past three months, and still I find that when I go through the thousands of trades for many brokers that IBFX is still where I like this program.
This may change down the road but I am also at the point here, through frustration, in where I am going to have to start ignoring e-mails that are asking questions related to other brokers when those questions have been answered time and time again in this thread.
If you are sold on some other broker then I have no problem with that, as we all have our own preferences, but please post your questions related to that broker here, and allow other members that may be using the same broker as you, have figured out the problem and allow them to answer your concerns.
I am making some small mistakes here on the upgrades by stopping what I am doing and attending to questions related to other brokers.
Very often we face situations when an Expert Advisor successfully operates with one brokerage company and is not profitable or even loss making on the other one. The reasons may be different. Different brokerage companies have different settings:
· Quotes. They slightly differ because of two factors - different data feeds and different filtration that smooths quotes. For some Expert Advisors this may be relevant. Situations may occur when an EA trades often with one brokerage company and rarely on another one.
· Slippage. It may differ much in different brokerage companies. This also may lead to worse characteristics of an EA because of lower expected profit.
· Requotes. In some brokerage companies they are oftener than in others. In this case an EA will miss successful entering points because of large number of requotes.
So, the operation of some EAs depends greatly on the brokerage company it works with. If there were no choice, we could put up with quotes, slippage, and requotes.
But now we have choice, and it is getting wider and wider. So, we can compare different brokerage companies, see their technical characteristics, and using this information we can choose the best brokerage companies for Excalibur V3.
