Here is the week's take. Maybe it was just a great week to trade but overall, Excalibur did very well. +1800 pips even with a 900 total pip loss on 3 contracts. Mostly just let Excalibur manage the trades. Earlier in the week I modified a couple stop losses to protect profits. Great job.
I would like to try the revised version. Where can i get it?

On thing that will be great for many is that you will now be able to make a choice as to how many trades to place, instead of the default of three . You can enter from one trade to what ever your account can handle. All part of the risk factor.
Also Excalibur V3 will now trail the opposite order and allow for a quicker comeback on any reversal.
I have been asked several times to attempt to make a version that will also scalp on a quicker time frame. Doing that as well.
Watch for the newsletter this weekend that will announce that the new version has been released and how to get a copy of it.
This week has seen several losses especially on the 30 minute chart. This is expected and patience is what we want here. Excalibur V3 has shown in back testing and in forward testing that losses will occur. If the rules are followed, lot size is left where it should be the Excalibur V3 will recover and then some.
Attached please find the statement on my weekly test results. Now I run the set of EAs on an IBFX mini demo account, the starting balance was USD 3000. I used default settings, started the test on Monday evening (GMT).
The results are nice measured in pips, though the lotsize was quite low comparing to the starting balance, that is 1 cent per pip, so the profit is small too.
I would also be grateful for your set files (I have been using MT4 for several years).

Bernard, here is the up to date results from the commercial version trading on a live account. IBFX broker, $605.00 initial deposit, trading mini's.
I have been monitoring the trades and adding trailing stops etc.
Basically once trade is in profit 50 pips I close 1 trade, add a 50 pip trailing stop to 1 trade and let the third run unchanged. If the trade hits 100 pip profit I add a trailing stop to the third trade of 100 pips.
Results from Commercial Version from 11 - 16 Jan 2009
Hi Bernard and fellow members,
Attached are the statements from Demo accounts using the commercial version of Excalibur. Starting account is $300/-. I manually closed most of the positive trades on the FXDD account. Whereas the IBFX account is on full auto. No changes made to the settings.
Hello. I have been using the V commercial version on a demo account with Alpari US for a week. I have to make it clear that the electric power in my town was going on and off for almost a whole day between Monday and Tuesday because of a major storm, so the test has been continuous only from Tuesday at about 9 am GMT.
I suppose for that reason it's not reliable, but I like the final result anyway
I hope it will keep on this track...
