I was wondering how people are doing this week? It's my first week using the EA and I do have some trades open, but over the week every trade opened was closed for a loss...I'm using the defaults and did nothing manually. I didn't know if I was doing something wrong or it just wasn't a good week for this EA and this weeks market.

this week was now very good. i has a lost over $40.
But one trade is currently running and had a profit of $20.

I know the ea's are made to be used all three on an account with a balance of $300.00.At first I ran them using $300.00 and as Bernard stated you need patiance.But using $300.00 I was seeing not too good progress it would loss .50 gain .30 etc.
This week I tried using $1500.00 with .20 lots.The pair that triggered this week was for gbpusd.What it did was first it triggered 3 sell trades which went to sl.Then it triggered the buys and gained back almost all.
I have not done any backtesting to see if tweaking the parameters for each pair would give better results?
I would think by now the holiday crowd are back and the market should be back to normal?

I am working on several issues and have taken a lot of suggestions into thought and have completely reworked Excalibur V3 with several new features that will lock in profits better, and add more flexibility to the program.

On thing that will be great for many is that you will now be able to make a choice as to how many trades to place, instead of the default of three . You can enter from one trade to what ever your account can handle. All part of the risk factor.

Also Excalibur V3 will now trail the opposite order and allow for a quicker comeback on any reversal.

I have been asked several times to attempt to make a version that will also scalp on a quicker time frame. Doing that as well.

Watch for the newsletter this weekend that will announce that the new version has been released and how to get a copy of it.

This week has seen several losses especially on the 30 minute chart. This is expected and patience is what we want here. Excalibur V3 has shown in back testing and in forward testing that losses will occur. If the rules are followed, lot size is left where it should be the Excalibur V3 will recover and then some.

I understand being patience...but at the same time I just started using the EA and I want to make sure that I have everything set up properly...and from what I'm reading I do...so now I'm just going to let it run.

Thanks Bernard for the hard work.The new features sound great and looking forward to test them.
I was wondering if possible can you post a set file which you think one who is using IBFX would be a good start to set the options? I know each trader needs to adjust the options for his or her risk factor, but being new at forex, it sure would help someone like me to at least get a little push in the right direction.I am not looking to make 300000000 in a week, but I would like to make a steady profit a week if possible.I would not think 100.00 a week in profit is not out of reach?
Also I would think each pair acts differently so I would think one set of options can not fit all three pairs? For example the eur/usd and usd/chf usually follow a correlation where if one goes up the other pair goes down, so if you have all three pairs trading on one account, I would think you would need different entry and exit points for the pairs?
For example let us say you want to start with $1500.00 on IBFX would you want to use all three ea's and leave the options the same for all three?

AS it currently stands each currency is already programmed differently for each one but I do see the advantages of using the sets files as then we only have one EA to use and then load the sets file for each currency.

Problem I face here is that I field around 100 calls a day from users that have no idea as to how to install the EA and I have to program a custom installer for each broker separately...Ouch...

If we convert to using sets files then I run into the issue of trying to teach a lot of people where to place the sets files and how to load them...Ouch.

I think what we will end up with is a combination of either and that the experience trader , like yourself will have access to my sets files and be able to use tem and save a lot of complications and for the others I will simply have to program a separate EA for each currency.

Personally I have one master Excalibur V3 and load a sets file for each trial.

Give me some time here and we will attend to this great idea here.
