But what I find is... On our Beta testing account. Bad Registration Number keep popping up. Hey, I get the right reg number in, switch the Timeframe back and fro awhile and make sure that it switch back to Good Registration Number. Ok, i done it on 1st day.
Then 2nd day again... then 3rd day again...
Is this ok?
No new trade so far.
Heard from a close friend, that this period till after New Year (15 Jan) is not advisable to trade LIVE, as market will be quiet and brokers tends to manupulate trades. Careful! Just go and enjoy your Christmas Break!

You might need to reset the EA each day for the registration number to verify itself. A pain I know but ..

I know you started this in Oct 08 but I just found it. I'm currently testing 4 other EAs and would like to test yours with 2 different brokers, AlpariUS and Tradeview. Both have 5 digit (3 for yen) prices and I've had some good results with Tradeview.
I'll send you my account info and email shortly.
Just for fun I'd like to see what a micro account would do with a $250 account but you mentioned that the finished Excalibur V3 will run on a Micro. Will the demo also?
If so I'll set up 3 accounts.

You can run the current versions on a micro account, as it is programmed for that type of account to start with.
Do not run these Demo versions on a "live" account. If you are ready to open a small " live" account then I will forward a proper version for a live account in the New Year.
You should have the option of setting up a micro or mini demo account with your broker

I'm a little fuzzy on the installation. I have 3 accounts set up with different brokers.
The demo instructions don't exactly say whether you attach the EAs to only the pairs designated or do you use any of them for all the pairs?
You gave us 4 EAs:
Excalibur_V3_Demo_EUR_USD_30m
Excalibur_V3_Demo_EUR_USD_Daily
Excalibur_V3_Demo_GBP_USD_Daily
Excalibur_V3_Demo_USD_CHF_Daily
Do you only want these pairs and TPs tested?
I have all 10 pairs up you mentioned in each of the 3 accounts and was going to run Excalibur on all of them unless that will take a much larger account than a $3,000 demo.
I see you've made some updates and revision changes and the Word document "Demo Instructions" now doesn't match the files to use, i.e. there is no "Excalibur_V3.ex4 is the Excalibur V3 EA This file goes into the /experts folder. It can be used on any currency and works best so far with a 15m or 30m time frames". So I couldn't load it.
Not sure how to go about and program this, but I think most brokers have a spread of 2 for the EUR/USD pair.If a spread function could be put into the program so you could set it not to trade if the spread goes past a certain number such as 2 this would help when brokers try to widen the spread?
Also I was curious to see if a time frame could also be put in when you want the trading to start and stop.I see there is one that you can use for the days of the week, but was wondering if one could be placed so you can pick the hours you want to trade?

Although you can use them on other currencies I do not suggest it. These updates are for the intended pairs and I have not released any for the other pairs yet.

I have found that since Bernard is testing on IBFX that the ea for the three pairs are working very well using IBFX.I did begin the testing period using two other brokers and did not have good results.I am now just testing on IBFX.
I am new to this board and have a few questions. I tried to get up to speed and have spent hours trying to catch up. Please forgive me if these are redundant questions but I find myself getting confused on a few points.
I just downloaded a demo account through FXOpen. I was not given a choice as to which type of account I wanted (micro, mini or standard). Are there some settings that I need to change or will the robot figure out the lot sizes based on the Risk level set? Some places I see TP at 1000! Should I be adjusting something?
Will this robot work opening and closing orders on all orders or are there some that I will have to manually close?

Excalibur will adjust the lot size dependent on the type of account.
Do not worry about the Take Profit as it is followed by a hardcoded Trail Stop and will most likely close out the order long before we reach that profit level. It is set high in the event that it actually does go that far.
As to closing out an order manually. You should use a demo account the same as if it was your real money and if you see a profit then it is up to you whether to allow Excalibur to manage the trade longer or simply take the profit.
