Tested with Excalibur_v3_Demo_GBP_USD_Daily, Excalibur_v3_Demo_USD_CHF_Daily and Excalibur_v3_Demo_EUR_USD_Daily, all at TF 30M. Tested for 4 days, not full week as monday have encountered some error messages. I will keep monitored the trade.
So far the trade is doing pretty well. Did observed that the trade can actually lock in at 100pips (for yesterday trade EURUSD) but... it did not. The EA has no emotion, feeling or even the excitement of gain, like we do . Well... it takes its time. Hum.. ok. It did adjusted it SL two time from its original to 1.2708 and to 1.2697.. The trade did went down to as low as 1.2643!?
Fantastic EA! Have not tested 30M as it still did give me error message and no trading done. I will get another platform up.
Great!

The daily EA is programmed to let the market move at least 100 pips before it can lock in any profit. I have tried it with different settings but then it locks in small profits and then closed out the trade long before we can get into a 200 or more pip profit.
From what I have seen with the daily EA, it makes nothing but profit on a daily chart, but might have to be manually closed when in a profit for the trader that does not want to let it run wide open and make the extra pips, over the long run, perhaps days or weeks.
Many traders have to many orders running and the old "Margin Call" is always there waiting for them.
The Daily EA needs 300 pips of room to operate properly and will tighten that up, once we are in a profit zone, and start to lock in profits once we are past the 100 pip range.
Sounds like a lot, but the Daily EA does not often opena trade, and when it does it is normally right, in its decision, to open a trade. I have been running the Daily EA "live" all last week and it opened on the EUR/USD and the GBP/USd both with a profit, but I did close out the trades manually and took the profit there, instead of letting it simply run.
I like the Daily EA simply because it give us more time to get to the computer and monitor the trades as it moves slow and steady as compared to the other charts. Especially when I activated the e-mail alert feature soon.
Not surprised that it made or should have made a profit on the 30 m chart but again, it is not programmed for the 30 m chart and as such has a larger stoploss and Trailing Stop.

Keep up the great work.

When I realized that Excalibur does not like 3 or 5 decimals brokers such as Alpari UK I changed to ActivTrades from Alpari on November 26. The results are much better than those ones I got using Alpari! I have to mention that there remained a relevant positive float for the weekend.
Tested pairs with Excalibur_V3_Nov_05:
AUDUSD
EURGBP
GBPUSD
NZDUSD
USDCHF
USDJPY
Time frame: M15
Tested pair with Excalibur_V3_Demo_EURUSD_M30
EURUSD
Time frame: M30
Attached please find the statement showing three days' (November 26-28) results.
Some ideas:
- There are more and more brokers using 3 or 5 decimals in pricing, so I think adapting the code to these brokers would be advantageous.
- Sometimes there is a huge gap in price when the market starts on Sunday evening. It can even be good or bad for the actual open trades. So, closing the open orders just before the market closes on Friday evening might be useful.

Again thank you for the time you are putting into this project here.
I really do not understand the issues with the decimal places,
I use IBFX and they have a four decimal point presentation and it works great on theri platform. Not premoting them although I do use them on all my live account simply because i have been with them for so long.
Will look more into this issue as we progress.

Attached are the statements from the following demo accounts.
FXDD, started on 4 Nov with $5000. Trading 6 pairs at m1 timeframe.
IBFX, started on 9 Nov with $3000. Trading 7 pairs at m15 timeframe.
Not able to open a demo account with FXCM so did not test on H4 timeframe.
cheers,

IBFX looks great. Sometime a matter of when we get into the market in the short run but lest see what goes on in the long run here.
Please do not close out any orders manually here.

LiteForex (SIGTrader) - 0.10 size trades - good gain of $803.12 but Floating P/L of -$1463.73 much higher than total from closed trades, still a nett profit of $663.95 since beginning of testing.
Broco Trader - 0.10 size trades - good gain of $1179.69 with Floating P/L a little less at -$1130.04, account is still in positive territory by $450.18 since beginning testing.
EURUSD 30min (EA dated 21Nov)
FOREX.com - 0.01 size trades - gain of $37.00 for the week, no Floating P/L, many trades closing for 0.00. Is it worth continuing with this test?
Latest EA tests (EAs dated 23/24Nov) - 3pairs Daily
All of the following were set up at roughly the same time and traded for the rest of the week. All of them made quite different trades.
FxPro MetaTrader - 0.10 size trades - poor start but a nice gain of $270.40 by end of week, no Floating P/L
MIG Trading Station - 1.0 size trades - excellent return of $1840.00 because of trade size, and Floating P/L showing a further $1162.50 profit. Very few trades placed.
ForexGen - 0.10 size trades - only made one set of trades for a small return of $36.60
Rest of attachments in subsequent post.
Good trading everyone,
Cheers,

Glad to see you are working away here as hard as I am...lol
All of the following were set up at roughly the same time and traded for the rest of the week. All of them made quite different trades.
What I expect to see and why we are using different brokers. All in their server timing and I have to figure out down the road the best brokers for Excalibur. So far IBFX is still on top.
Wayne do not close out any demos please unlless we blow up the demo account.

Bernard, I have set up your Nov 24th EA's on EURUSD, GBPUSD, and USDCHF on the daily time frame using ODL Securities as the broker. They will be running when market opens today (Sunday, Nov 30th) and I will upload results at the end of the week. Your EA looks promising, nice work!
Also, your setup instructions do not mention about the summaryreportinpoints file and what it does and where to put it. I have it set up but you may want to add the info.
Regards,
Wayne

No longer using the summary Reports file. Just the detailed Statement sheets.

Per your request, I have closed the above accounts to concentrate on the newer EA's. It was later that you said if we have the resources you would still like us to continue with the original EA. Although not unlimited, my resources are plentiful. I have started 3 new accounts on IBFX. One was used for your newer general EA, one for your EUR/USD 30m EA and one for the other 6 currency specific EA's. I will upload the weeks take on those 3 accounts. Later this week I will start tests on other brokers and start a test on your daily EUR/USD. Are there any particular brokers you were looking for further information on?

Thank you as always for your great work here. Bored yet...lol
Anyway there are no brokers at this point that we are not using and I am personally concentrating on IBFX at the moment.

I took the weekend off here. Had to . Simply drained and need the break away from this and a few other matters at hand.
I try my best to answer every post here and am impressed. lately. to see other members, trying to answer questions posted here, as well. Great seeing others, helping each other. Takes a bit off me here as well.
So far results are good, not great,, yet but good and I am happy with the incoming data.
The Daily EA is performing very well ,and although it may have to be watched and closed manually, it has made some nice "live" profits on my end here on several accounts. Think, for the Daily EA, may be better once the e-mail alert is functional. Will see. Works for me at least.
The 30 m chart is also performing fine, but not on every currency. The EUR/USD has done fairly well, but I am not having a lot of success here, yet on the other currencies. I am compiling data as usual, and will be working on the other currencies, this week here.
Please do not be concerned with the expiry date hardcoded in Excalibur. I will update Excalibur. sometime this week and they will not expire until the end of January. Remember the final release will never expire.
Although we are testing quite a few different currencies here, remember that when all is said and done, I believe that we will end up with four major pairs to trade with Excalibur and all will be winners. That does not mean that I will not continue to test the rest of the market and program for as many currencies as possible.
What has to be remembered here, is that we a re trying to get Excalibur done and trading "live" and as such the danger of a trader opening too many trades, on too many currencies, will always be there.
It is always far better to trade one or two currencies, than many, since there will always be some drawdown here and when a "Margin" call comes in it can destroy several good trades.
Quick profits and emotions have been the killer of many accounts over the years and small profitable trades that add up over and over are what makes a small trader a successful trader.
Anyway have a lot of work to get to here tonight and the rest of the week so keep up the great work here and thank you everyone for getting involved in this project and for helping each other out at times when I am not logged in here to help.

Bernard,
I believe the problem here is the "Point" variable. A single line script will bear this out:
Alert("Point value returned = ", Point);
When run against a cross involving the JPY on Forex.com, it returns a value of .001 whereas on IBFX it returns a value of .01. The real surprise is that when run against a pair that uses 4 or 5 digits (EUR/USD, etc) Forex.com returns a value of 0, whereas IBFX returns a value of .0001. Kind of blows my previous code example out of the water, but all I ever tested it on was GBP/JPY. I don't know at this time, but perhaps it is a pre-programmed limitation of the "Point" variable.
Oddly enough, the "Ask" and "Bid" variables on Forex.com are returned to 4 decimal places on most pairs, whereas on JPY crosses they are returned to 3 decimal places...go figure. Again, it may be that these variables are hard coded to only display 4 digits.
Hope this helps.
Bob
