Hi, Pheniox
a question about lot -size :
do you detect micro lot on account ?
example : account (5000 with 1%) opens 0.1 lot
account (3000 with 1%) opens 0.01 lot (why not 0.06 lot ?)
in your opinion is it necessary to fix minimum-account for each pairs to defense account from DD ?
thanks in advance
Money Management that is built in looks at the account balance and determines the lot size as set by the LotBalancePct setting. Changing this setting will change the lot size.
Currently it is set to eliminate any margin call due to the drawsown.
This will be eliminated very soon with the new releases.

1.25060/1.25080 With the SL set to 50 it will close the position already after 5 points loss.. In my example at 1.25030 in a short position.. Can anyone help me please?

I can program an separate EA for that broker but think that I would end up doing this for all the other brokers.
Currently I am using IBFX and FXDD as my live account brokers and as my demo brokers.
I a, also programming the EA under their trading platforms.
I am currently concentrating on the daily charts as they show more long term promise, and can surrender us hundreds of pips instead of a few here and there.
Although the daily charts may take days, to receive a signal, then place a trade, I would rather wait for a good signal instead of one that I might have to worry more about.
Having said this I still need the incoming data from all beta testers using the other charts to make the final EA as good as possible.
I have attached a version of Excalibur V3 here that will allow you to change the stoploss on your end. Is is for the EUR/USD 30 m chart only.
Let me know if it works properly and what you set the stoploss at for that broker.

Hi there Bernard and testers, here are my results after almost 2 weeks non-stop testing excalibur (7 pair-7diff ea..lol) in 2 differents timeframes (15-30) with the same broker (FastFxTrader). Yes the drawdown is scary but these are demo accounts and wen we go live the EA will have a lot of options to the end user.
Thanks for the time and effort you have put in here.
We no longer need to use the first version of the Excalibur V3.
Download the newest version for the EUR/USD for the 20 m chart and lets see how it performs. 5250 points in one week trading

Thanx once again for your prompt reply to my question, and after reading this thread I would like to say and hope all join me in saying that your beta tester support is of the highest care for all concerned, regardless of their own experience of lack of experience, you always reply with an answer and respond to challenges promptly and positively.
I have re-downloaded the fixed version, and installed it into Interbankfx's platform. It still crashed down. But when I put this fixed version into MT4 platform of metaquotes, it worked fine?
Why did this problem exist in mt4 platform of interbankfx, but not in mt4 platform of metaquotes? Could you please kindly double-check? Thanks.
By the way, yesterday night (Vietnam time), I tried your newest version of Eurusd, M30 on metaquotes' mt4 platform, it placed 3 trades.
At first, it made some small losses (around 15 pips/trade) during Euro session, then, in New York session, it turn 3 losses into 3 winners with around 55 - 65 pips / trade. Then, when I woke up this morning, all winning trades became complete losses (3 trades x - 50 pips = -150 pips), and burnt my account. I opened a mini account of 1,000usd only.
From what I see here is that:
1. This newest version does not have trailing stop in it.
2. This version does not have "breakven" and "Profitpiplock" option in it, either.
If these functions are added into this newest version of Eurusd, M30, all trades could finally secure some profits, even the market reverses at the end.
Of course, the traders' target is to ride the trend until it ends at the end, but their main purpose is to secure at least a minimum profit each day continuously and consistently so that each month, they can get a minimum pip target.
The users have the option/choice to input their desired pips in "trailing stop", "breakeven" and "Profitpiplock" functions.
+ About the usage of your EA on Daily chart, I have just double-checked your indicator on Daily chart (even 4h chart as well), and found that it can avoid fake moves and fake breakout, and could run the strong trend from hundred pips to even thousand pips (especially on Gbpjpy, Eurjpy, and Gbpusd). So, your extensive testing of the other version on Daily chart is very good, and needed. You can separate your EAs into 2 different kinds:
a. Intraday trend : using a version on M30 or H1
b. Long-term trend : using another version on H4 or Daily.
I found it very interesting to forward-test your EA and give some of my thoughts so that we can improve this "Excalibur" EA to be a winning EA in the long-run time, and it can survive under all market conditions (flat, choppy, and sudden, strong trend conditions).
By the way, please kindly check why it crashed down when using MT4 platform of Interbankfx.
