Looks like Excalibur went into a small profit on the trade , placed a stoploss and then the trade went the wrong way and excalibur closed out before any losses.

Worked as it should have

Here are my first week testing your Excalibur EA - Indicator

Results are quite interesting since only 2 positions were closed in negative.

It is a shame that we can not adjust the size of the position accordingly to the size of the account.

I will resume testing beginning of next week, because this week I am going to a forex seminar.

Tested on EURUSD, GBPUSD, GOOGLE, SPOT GOLD, EURO GLOBEX

I have tried the expert on platforms of two different brokers - MIG Investments and ODL, both platforms crash after I enable live trading and close immediately. Do you have any idea what the real problem might be? I also want to contribute with testing on the platforms of these two brokers. Thank you in advance!

May it be the case that my brokers do not have 0.01 lots option, as I see from the posted reports that the EA trades with this lot size. If so, could you please post EA that starts with 0.1 lots, so we will be able to test on a lot more brockerage platforms? Thank you.

I'm testing your EA in small account (U$500) in IBFX.
I'm very surprise with the results. But I thinks that It might be better if we could change some parameters to get better perfomace.

I have opened the code to allow members to change the lot size for those running on a demo larger than 3k.

Please do not attempt to kill the account but over extending the EA.

We are not trying to make the Holy Grail here and every trader that has ever lost an account has done so out of greed and not from patience.

The whole concept here is to let Excalibur run.

Remember that in global competitions the EA is not judged for its performance in a month but over a full year.

Excalibur will make pips given the proper opportunity.

Simply overwrite the original version and re start the trading platform.

As always this goes into the /experts folder.

For new testers please do not download this version. There are other files required for Excalibur to operate properly so please download from the first post first then overwrite the original file with this one.

Make sure that the "Lot" size matches LotBalancePcnt and MiniLot or it will not work.

Also have installed Excalibur on a few other brokers and their stations crashed until I recomplied the Ea under their MetaEditor..Go figure...lol

Excalibur V3 will now trade on "GOLD" if your broker has that option.

This is probably pretty well understood by those familiar with running this sort of program, but make sure windows automatic updates are turned off. Mine accidentally got turned on, and imagine my dismay when I awoke to find that MetaTrader had been off for about 9 hours because windows update had rebooted my computer during the night.
