Edited to add basic trading style as requested;
Very basically, I watch the Daily/Weekly trend, correlate it with H1/H4 trend and then trade a swing strategy on H4.
Sometimes this leads to large Drawdowns as noticed by Keit a few posts forward, but invariably I have winning trades and few loosers.

I tend to be a bit of a Euro nut, so that is where most of my trades are, I trade the following pairs primarily, but not exclusivly;
EUR/USD, EUR/CHF, EUR/GBP, EUR/JYP.
I also venture into the following pairs occasionally;
GBP/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CHF, USD/CAD.

I am also extremely strict on my strategy and very seldom stray from the basic set of rules, so if there are no trades, then there are no trades!
This can last a week or more at a time if the markets are not worth trading, in my opinion.
Today I got a refund request form Plimus, the agency I use for billing.

Please folks let me make it very clear here in the first post of this thread.
I DO NOT trade every day!
I DO NOT give TP and SL settings, merely advice based on the manner in which I trade.
I have no idea what propoganda the client is talking about either, possibly he has me confused with someone else?
Both these facts are discussed and mentioned quite clearly on my web page, but never the less someone misunderstood and I do not wish for this to happen again.
So if you do not know how to manage your trades, then my signal service is not for you!
Here is a copy of the refund request from the client.

Product doesn't match expectations - This is a very poor service and it is not as good as it was described on the web page. The signals weren't sent to me everyday and the e-mails have commercials and propaganda. This service sucks this service is good if you want to lose your money. Draw down from this month till today was 63.4%, this means that from 10,000 it was drawn down to to 4,000. Again this service isn't like it was described, that is why I want to discontinue this service and also, return my 15 dollars from the past month
Please folks read the web page carefully before signing up, I honestly do not mean to mislead anyone at all and thought that I had made these points very clear.

My apologies if I have offended anyone or mislead anyone this is not my intention at all and if anyone else feels as this person does, pleae let me know, thanks.

Hi Wayne,

Glad to see that you have decided to share your trading knowledge for such a small fee.
You are one of the most serious traders I have ever had the opportunity to share insights with,in a couple of private forums,and I am fairly sure that your signals will be the best value for money out there...by far.

Could you just explain about "usual/expected" length of trades and-yes,I know,we can have days without signals,but there are days with lots of them to compensate-approx number of trades per month?

Additionally,what pairs are you most focused on?And,is there an expected timetable to receive the signals?(for example..at 08:00 gmt,etc) Or you send them as they come?..And,if the later were the case,are you entering on limit or at market?...This will help people to decide,since not everybody is at the screen full time(including you ),and signals to be taken at market,when "read" 2 hours after the event,can be tricky..I know you usually trade the higher tfs,so,I presume there will be enough time to catch the entry,but it would be useful for everybody if you gave a little more detail.

Regards
Simba

Fatcat's Signals.

Hi Simba

Thank you very much for those kind words and I hope that I can live up to your expectations, for you sure set a high standard yourself.
Here is the basis of the manner in which I trade, remembering of course that I attempt to look for a minimum of 21 pips in every trade I place for this signal service, but I also place 3 lots and scale out of the trade while protecting my profits.
(Explained in a little more detail here; FatCats Forex Signals)
In this way I have the benefit of catching a good trend if the signal leads to one.

I also use stops for this strategy because of the nature of the swing strategy and the fact that it can be wrong, which can be very costly if traded without stops.
Why can it be wrong?
Simply put all reversals start on the smaller time frames, so even if the longer TF suggests a good trade for the shorter TF, the shorter TF could be indicating a reversal and not a trough or peak!
This being the case it is important to trade with an SL.
My SL's vary between 89 and 233 pips depending on the pair being traded.

As for time of day of trading and the preferred TF?
Mostly I trade the London open, through about Lunch time or 1PM New York trading hours.
I prefer the H4 time frame and do trade H1 when looking for troughs and Peaks in longer time frame trends.

Length of Trades?
This is a difficult one purely because of the nature of the way I trade these signals.
Realistically however, you should be able to close the first portion or everything with 24 hours.
If a trend runs in our favour, some trades could stay open for a month, that is if you have the "guts" to ride the peaks and troughs on the smaller TF while ensuring that the longer TF stays in place?

I hope I covered everything and thanks for asking, much appreciated and I am sure this information will be good to know for anyone thinking of subscribing.

Thanks again
Wayne

Balance = $101,606.99
Open Trades = -$3,669.59

I am looking to setup a Demo account that does NOT EXPIRE so I can just give the Account number and ReadOnly password to people that want to see performance with an MT4 Broker.
I will then either transfer the current opening balance and continue to update results daily or just start a fresh account.

Which broker would be the best for this and why?

Thanks
Wayne

Hi Wayne ,

I am following your trades , sometimes I am a bit late on the entry.

I am only testing with 0.01 lots to see how much room I need to give for the trades , but so far so good , the basket is in profit

I used to have a lot of demo accounts on IBFX and I don't recall them ever expiring.

Wayne,

WHC Trader demo accounts don`t expire...and I believe most of the brokers have realized that non expiry of demos is good for their business.

Regards
Simba
