- yet another $100,000+ a year 'Holy Grail', but the seller cannot afford to forward-test it on a $100 bucks real-account, instead attempting to flog it on the back of crummy backtests - they even attempt to make it a selling-point, by highlighting the 90% modelling quality! Although they don't even provide access to the actual backtest, (surprise, surprise!) from the stats, it is clearly a martingaler of sorts, yet is backtested on H1 - not something you would do if 'reliability' was your main agenda...
Obviously relying on the greed and gullibility of newbies...
Why not trade pennies on a small, real live account to test with...ohh you could lose a few cents in exchange for a good test....what is the harm with that?...The minute your yield-to-risk ratio turns upside down end the test...
I am not a big fan of martingales, other than their entertainment effect...and by the way new traders...never trade a martingale system with more than penny per pip trade size if you want to survive long enough to drag money out weekly to get to the "house-money risk level".

Interesting question
But you could say the same for just about every product marketed to man.
The hunger for cash from both side’s seller and buyer.
It's not everything but is up there with oxygen.
A seller says or displays what they think the buyer wants or needs to hear or see just basic marketing 10% truth 80% jargon 10% complete rubbish. And you know what they say, about 80% of statistics are made up.
And it’s all a pure numbers game on the forex system front if you look at virtually all EA sellers on the net they are marketing to the I want it now “instant coffee generation” and there’s a lot of people on the internet that drink instant.
sometimes the only way I can deal with it is to make a satire over it. When you read my posts you may notice a certain flavor. Things may not be as they seem ☺
