my north finance feed seems different from yours

see attchached chart of cable with last buy signals (all great btw)

this last buy signal is at 7563

EDIT: Ok, you're considering 7546, where a candle closed above ema50 and the next one opened above it; the filter trade happens later ok

Different brokers, different feeds. This is a problem. I'm using Neuimex now. I find it more reliable.

Just a tip: when we had not filters, we took trades with tiny step bars. Now we have filters. Ok, as we were long, buy when you see the Step bar above filter, do not wait for the close as we are long. Another thing is when we have a regular signal. We must wait here.

Look at what I've done on USDCHF. I sold when step bar crossed filter and last lows. (red line)

ah, didn't know that

so for regular trades (cross of ema50) we wait for bar close
for filter trades we enter as soon as bar crosses 0.04 filter

thanks for the info!

PS: hope Benfica can beat Barcelona!

Hi!

Camisa: for regular trades, we wait for bar opening (buy) above EMA50 after a cross. Histo_Step should be in green and above 0,04.

For level 2 trades, we do not wait if preceding bars are already green. We just jump in when we see the bar that should be a buy goes above last ones.

And Barça will win, sorry.

have looked thru forum twice and cant seem t find the max bars to count indicator can someone ell me what page it is on

For OANDA users:

I like to make my "experiments" with fresh money. I do not use "demos". I do them live. As they are "experiments", I do them with little money. OANDA lets me do so. But, mates, OANDA does funny things with rates.

When the trade is in your favor, it "freezes" it for a while and so on.

I like re-enter signals when price just hits EMA50 and indicators don't show signal. It's allways go back and it's possibility to get few more points
