I have good trades so far from Brainwashing #1c. Few questions arises :

You mentioned that this EA generates only 1 trade per day from 4 majors but for today I already have 3 closed trades (eur +20, gbp +8 & jpy -4) and 3 opening trades (chf -8, gbp +16 & eur -1) ??

If I estimate ItrendLevel daily, will my result be much better ?

If you are talking about original 1c so I tested it during the 6 days with profit only and no losses and it produced one trade per day. This EA is very sensitive concerning the news, friday etc so I am trading mainly from 7 am to 7 pm and not for Friday.

Today I did not start yet because we have new version of 1d (updated) now and I had to insert the 'working hours' code inside this 1c as well.
So I will post updated 1c and will continue testing.

I am affraid for many trades for this EA (if it is 1c and not 1c1, 1c2 and 1d).
I am tryng to estimate ItrendLevel to have 1 trade per day for the 4 main pair, and I am not trading when the market is moving very fast (it was 3-4 days ago when new build of mt was updated). Why I am afraid? Because the signal from Price_Channel_signal indicator is coming late sometimes, and confirmation from iTrend indicator is not exactly at the time (sometimes). And because of that if the price is moving very fast it may produce the losses.

But I think it is personal.
I will continue testing.

Thanks for your prompt reply. But how come I got more than 1 trades from 4 majors today? Is it due to wrong iTrendLevels input? I have used your given presets & iTrendLevel for #1c.

However for version #1d, I have 3 out of 4 losses

For estimation of iTrendLevel, any possible solutions in future without having to do it at all? But of course if this EA proves to be super profitable, I don't mind doing estimations every 2 days or even daily.

Look at the images. 1c should open one trade today only (gpb) because it opens with the iTrend confirmation with the same bar with signal (big dot) but opens the order on the next bar. It mean if we have signal and confirmation in the same bar this version will open the order in the next bar. It is 1c version.

You are trading using 1c1 version probably, or 1c2.

I am continuing forward testing Brainwashing 1c.

Please find my statement for the last week. No losses at all.

After that I changed the broker from Neuimex to Alpari and this week is not very good for this EA: I had some losses.
So, will post updated statement in the end of the week.

My settings are :

GBPUSD TP 200 SL 10 TS 35 or 40 Risk 0 Period 9 (11 month TS 40)
EURUSD TP 130 SL 5 TS 40 // //
USDJPY TP 120 SL 2 TS 25 // // (11 month TP 180 TS 40)
USDCHF TP 130 SL 10 TS 40 // //

I'm testing new settings now.
* TP 100 for all majors may be is a good idea

to remind me about this EA.
This EA is having the several version from the simple version 1, then 1a, then 1b up to 1c_1 and 1d with the settings.
So, do not be confused with the versions because some of the versions are absolutely different. Names are the similar only.
For example Brainwashing v1 and Brainwashing 1c are the different EAs. Absolutely different. It is not the versions even.
And Brainwashing 1c and Brainwashing 1c_1 are different EAs.
But Brainwashing 1c1 and Brainwashing 1c2 are the different versions of the same EA.

So do not be confused (I am confused with the version very often).

Brainwashing 1c and 1c_1 were performing the good results.
But I stoped testing for the technical reason. Because I want
- to test almost all Brainwashing EAs and
- to find the right settings for 1d version.

Thus, I will continue (after the New Year).

Hi I am new here. I just started using Meta Trader 4 Demo account of Interbank.

I read that EA mean Expert Advisor.
What EA do I do not know and How to implement / apply EA.

I also saw EA files in others forums and downloaded them too but after downloading what to do next with that file.

Need help if some one could explain to me What is EA and how it works and what is the benifits of EA ? Lol I asked too many questions ;-)

I'm testing version #1b H1 Time Frame.

EA stands for expert advisor. It is an automated trading system. All EA should be put in the /expert directory. All indicators should be put in the /expert/indicator directory. Then drag the EA to the chart and make sure the allow live trading is on.
