What we are doing wrong?
We recognized that EA based on this indicator can not trade all the time: too many looses. We decided to use some filter.

Now I am testing this system trading manually using iTrend indicator to avoid trading in afloat market. On m15 time frame seems to have one trade per day
(because of iTrend):

Today in GBPUSD H1 --- with Itrend filter we would have done the short very late ... I'm trying to see what kind of filter would give as better signals. Volume filter is also good ... or perhaps a combination of both.

I see EA is using price channel ... in an strange way: closing operations when 'close' touches Price Channel high value ... we close buy operation.

If 'close' touches Price Channel low value ... we close sell operation.

Why we do that?

I was because I wanted to have channel to estimate S/L and T/P

I tried to explain to Alex that we must have profit level. But later on I saw that the channel is moving together with the price. Original author's idea was to have stop loss when the price is crossing the indicator's line. But sometimes it does not work. So I was thinking to have the S/L and T/P level as the borders of the channel.

But channel is moving. And the position is opened on the border sometimes.
So we can not use this idea. Anyway all the people tested without this option.

I saw an other indicator which they are using all together but still do not know why. See the images.

As to gbp on h1 so I agree. See image - this iTrend indicator gave us the permission to enter too late.

One this price indicator for the EA is not enough.

I am continuing testing manually using iTrend on M15 timeframe. But we really need to estimate where our profit level will be. Even for manual trading.

Hi everyone,

Considering increased interest to my indicators, I want to present new version PriceChannel_Stop_v6.
In new version is added possibility to paint bars and build it for greater timeframe.
I consider that this indicator better than BrainTrend1 since has a more flexible adjustment.
For instance, under ChannelPeriod=9 and Risk=0,3 you get adjusting the indicator ASCTrend1 by default.
Under ChannelPeriod=20 and Risk=0 you get Donchian Channel System.
Changing ChannelPeriod possible also to get Turtles System and so on.
Regarding adjusting the indicator, I prefer to work under Risk=0 and on greater values ChannelPeriod (>9).

In new version you will find two new parameters:
ColorBar - switch of the painter bar (1-on, 0-off)
TimeFrame - value timeframe in mines (0-current, 5-M5,15-M15,30-M30,60-H1,240-H4,1440-D1,7200-W1,28800-MN1)
