That would mean that you just have to watch the StepMA for the cross and the candles to open above the MA?

Best signals are when the crosses are simultaneously. But you never know!
When opening of new bar (signal bar) is more than 20 pips above/below EMA50, the trade could be riskier. Use common sense and do not trade as a robot.
