I want to say I've found this indicator can be very useful, but in the end the macd histogram and a few others will give the same market perceptioin just with varying chopiness depending on smoothing. The one flaw in the two mentioned is that they will be very good most of the time and then reflect a shift in bias that doesn't stick and not pick up the original bias continuation at all, leaving the trader getting run over by a train. This is not an easy business indeed.
