Good point. But I would say that P-SAR is more 'leading' than other indicators though no? While we dont know where the price is going, we do know without a doubt that the price moves in waves, that is self evident. We dont know whether this particular wave, either up or down, will be strong or not but we know it is coming. P-SAR uses probability to its advantage in this sense I think. It starts out with a 50/50 chance of predicting a new trend, and then I'd say it gets an extra 10% because it chases the price, faster and faster and catches it right when the momentum is winding down, and this is often where a new trend begins. Or am I just BSing here? Id say give it another 10% if you only take trades when the time frames are in alignment. So if you use a 1 hour chart you would only take trades with rising momentum on the 4 hour and 1 day.
