Yannis is on a distinguished road
Come on guys, no weakness? We all wish.
Of course it has weaknesses. Those of us long enough in the market and I mean live accounts, know too well that all systems in this market, manual or automated will suffer losses, have bad days and will need “adjustments” as time goes by. What we mean with adjusting to all market conditions is exactly that, its ability to dynamically change the params in ways suitable to each market situations. The concept remains the same but the core mechanism works differently when we ‘tweak’ certain parameters. You want to know what we believe makes Artemis Breakout better than other ea’s? Well it is what we ‘ask’ from the expert to deliver and the way we have coded it to do so. We try to do what might seem funny and obvious to many of you, we try to have small but very consistent gains, and keep as much as possible the loosing trades from slowly bleeding our accounts. We prefer staying aside than risking big losses. If you search for grid trading, huge / no SL, hundreds of trades, return around 500% a month, well Artemis is not for you, as it isn’t for us either. We don’t want an EA (and we all know many really good out there), that will double our account in no time. If an EA can do that, we are sure it will also do the opposite soon or later and before we realize, our account will suffer terribly (our health along with it).
An EA that can deliver +100 pips per month / pair on a constant base is all we need.
The rest is a matter of Mathematics only and it’s the easy part.
We are confident that Artemis Breakout can deliver that much, at least results so far are really backing up our position.

Speaking of bad days, yesterday was a very bad, very thin day as you all noticed, and as a breakout system Artemis did suffer, more or less depending on the settings used. Allow me to post one of our registered users comment today (email at anyone's disposition):

"As I posted yesterday, I am running GBPUSD, USDCHF & USDJPY on 5 minute timeframe plus NZDUSD, USDJPY & USDCHF on 15 minute timeframe, all running with the recently recommended settings. The account is viewable live by anyone wishing to access it to validate any trades, as per my earlier posting. Whilst it has only been running a couple of days, fully automated, hands off, yesterday as we all know it pretty universally produced disasterous results, with my account being no exception and drawing down well over 10%. The good news today is that it has recovered those losses in todays trades. It is good so see it is capable of performing in this manner.
If there are more good days than bad days, we might make some money long term.
Well done Artemis and well done Yannis for your efforts."
