I experienced disconnections myself in Oanda, and Oanda has been freezing recently on news events.
Yes they are starting to lose on profitable traders.

Such a biz cannot exist with profitable traders making money consistantly.

Solution:
ECN or Bank --->never mt4 broker, and never a broker that has an INTRODUCING BROKER PLAN(Oanda was like that but - with news scalpers shooting it down its REFCO TIME ---so get out while you can)
