i traded live with gft over a years and i can say they are verry bad at news time.sometimes dealbookfx2 frozen, or i place spot order and for 30 minutes i do not know if my order was executed or not.sometimes i could manage to make few pips (few time over 30) due to gft was late with price comparing to saxobank.
try saxo,they widen spread during news or even block trades but at least you can see what is going on after news
all mt4 brokers i tested (demo) was totaly untredable or frozen during news
dont try to find perfect broker for news trading,this is time when market react fast and brokers dont like that,they dont like losing money
also try to set over 10 lots (1 000 000) or more in your trading platform and yuo will see how spread is geting biger...no easy money for us,small investors but those who trades big time are geting even worst spread
