An improved look at the CCi...

I want to show you an improved way of trading the CCi-5 - improved in the sense that your entries will be "safer" providing that you have patience!

I moved my MAX/MIN-levels from 165 (remember that the true value is 166.66) to 163 for the ##CCI_Alert-5 which runs on the candles and creates a White "cap" around the top/bottom of the candle such as you see on a number of candles here.

Secondly, I changed the overheating levels on the indicator to ±135 as I have noticed that when the CCi-5 hits this level (before overheating and mostly does not carry on to overheating anyway!) and will not trade until the CCi-5 has retraced to above/below the zero-line and then take the entry upon crossing the zero-line from above/below.

Example #1 the CCi-5 was too close to the -135 line @ 06h40 and the correct entry was @ 07h20 when the CCi-5 came back through the zero-line at #2.

#3 was correct.

#4. was an excellent entry and so was #5 as a re-entry.

BUT look at the clear indication for the short #6 @ 11h05.

I suggest you make the necessary changes and study the entries.

Best wishes for better entries.
