:: Sorry, but it's totally not "buggy" & even the previous version is not much different then the new one.. will certainly not make your MT4 crash if you install it the right way (what is very easy & simple to do, but there are some instructions to read, if you done it the wrong way then reset everything, delete all IN10TION files in the "files" folder, etc..).. is it about Vista: I have some tips explained here in the thread to solve your problems ( "User Account Control" ).. please, follow them. Whatever it is, it will not fail/crash after you get it to work. ( you already know that with the previous version )
No, it doesn't write to the registry & I don't allow name changing.. why you do that in the first place? Even if the indicator notifies you about it (several times).. don't complain about it
Yes, I force my users to upgrade for free, to let people use the latest improved version, because I do not run a service to keep all track of older IN10TION NewsReader questions.
Please, let me know how it works out for you.. Perhaps I can do better in coding something for a better followup on a new install/upgrade..
Thanks,
IN10TION

As I have removed and replaced it several times in the meta directory....
Does this indicator write to the registry?
If so WHY?

the old one worked fine...this one just crashes metatrader now
Typically users are allowed to upgrade and are not forced to
Bad move
