We pay attention to volume accumulations during such period of time:
- the contract
- a month
- a week
- a day

and during the day( for intraday trading):
- an hour
- half an hour
and smaller periods: 15, 5, 1 minutes, etc.

Importance of the volume depends on quantity of made positions (lots or shares on some price) for the chosen time interval.
