You can start with just one EA. Although there are no any "crazy" EAs so you can not expect good profit from 500 starting deposit using 0.01 lot size.
According to my opinion the good way for 500 deposit size is to use Brainwashing system or Brainwashing EAs. I am forward testing those EA in elite section but it is public EAs by code and settings (and by performance of course) from this section http://www.forex-tsd.com/brain-systems/
