I'm relatively new to trading, and it can be quite overwhelming to jump in at the forex level...it's very fast-paced and time consuming...and I've honestly been spending most of the time putting experts up on a chart and watching what they're doing while I'm trying to read and learn more about the forex trading arena in general...

I was wondering if any people here are also dabbling in other markets, like with futures and commodities, stock options, and stocks in general. Is there a forum like this one for those other markets...I'd love to see the automated software for some of those markets...or can these ea's be used on some of them?

I'm so new to this that I don't even know what I don't know about trading platforms, software, brokers, etc. I'm trying to read as fast as I can. I do know that I just simply can't babysit a chart all day, because I spend most of my time driving and not near a computer. I need something to trade my strategy (when I know what that is), and will take profits and also keep me from losing my shirt when I'm stuck in traffic for hours. It doesn't need to be in forex. I like the excitement of forex, and the challenge of it, but I'm not sure I have the time to trade it.

If anyone has any constructive viewpoints on markets that would be better, or why forex is better, I'd welcome them. I'd also like to know if you are aware of software in those markets that can be programmed similar to the ea's we are seeing in the forex market. I'd love to find a good community of people in each market to learn from as I've started doing here.
