NOPE, the free version is free, the paid version is donations, and while Im certain Avery would love $1000 for his efforts, Im sure the price hasnt been bid up to there yet !! (lol)
as he has said, the free version is all you need, but if you want all the "optional extras" like the automatic headlite dimmer, air conditioning, heated leather seats, "trophy" girl friend seat covers and power windows, then you pay for the "optional extras", even though it dont make the car faster, handle better or get better gas mileage !
at least, thats what everyone else reads into what hes doing, except you !
