evaluation

I have tested this program, not as extensively as I wanted because of my lack of time, but anyway I checked all the main functions.
So here is my experience with it, my evaluation and then some suggestions.

installation:
with the help of the videos the installation is easy and simple. I am a bit old fashioned in the way that I would like to also have a pdf document as a support rather than videos, but the installation and usage is so simple that you don't need to review the videos many times.
On one of my computer I had trouble in installing the software, I don't know why (maybe some problems with registries). On the second computer it installed without problem.

usage of the Ea to generate the data:
Running the EA was straight forward. Only one small reserve: if you check the Journal, in some cases you may see errors. (ArrayCopySeries function internal error). In fact it doesn't matter and the EA works anyway, but it is just that it looks strange.

basket tester:
if you follow the usage rules it works as described.
The tick box for including the swap or not is a nice feature to visualize the effect of the swap.
This software can help you in finding the more "efficient" baskets, specially if you are interested in carry trading or hedging.

Suggestions for improvement:
- instead of having only the max DD I would like to see the DD curve (in % of the equity) below the equity curve. It shouldn't be difficult to calculate has the DD curve is directly derived from the equity curve.
- possibility to add simple logic to test a strategy like buying if equity drops of x% or x$. Of course that would request much more work that the first suggestion but it would be very nice.

support:
when I had some difficulties, Coder was quick to answer, so the support was good.

Global evaluation:
It should be clear to everybody that this tool is not a strategy tester (except if your strategy is buy and hold), it is a tool that is useful for choosing what are the optimal pairs to put in a basket. So as I said before mostly for carry traders and hedgers. I you fell into this category, I think that the price of the tool is not to high (70€ it is less than many losing EAs or 1 month in some PalTalk rooms), because it will save you a lot of hard work from, for instance, using Excel instead. So I invite you to test the evaluation version, there is anyway no cost and no risk. (again, we would be more than happy to see that for all products submitted to this forum)

PS: Coder if you disagree with some points on this mail, I am of course reday to discuss them and change them if I am wrong.
