Finex Update

29.10.2007

We are pleased to tell you that the German Bank which will co-operate with Finex Group GmbH (“Finex”) is Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG, Hamburg (“Varengold Bank”), a German investment bank founded in 1995 and specialising in managed futures, asset management and financial services in connection with foreign exchange and derivatives.

Varengold Bank offers services in online trading of Futures and Options, CFDs and Forex for private and institutional customers.

Varengold Bank plans to acquire the business of Finex. This deal is however conditional on the approval of the Swiss Federal Banking Commission.

Varengold Bank is based in Hamburg, Germany and publicly listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ISIN DE0005479307) and provides services foremost in the field of on-line trading of Futures & Options, Contracts for Difference and Forex for retail and institutional customers. It also pioneered the first fund of hedge funds with a focus on managed futures in Germany as well as being one of the first European-wide managed futures platforms, enabling investors direct and secure access to commodity trading advisors. Varengold Bank’s website is Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG - WILLKOMMEN

We are delighted to bring our clients Varengold Bank’s business acumen, sound stability and longevity in the marketplace to add to Finex’s excellent execution technology in the OTC spot Forex markets. No retail brokerage firm active in the industry can, we believe, compete with the powerful combination of what Finex and Varengold Bank will now be able to offer in the marketplace.

Within the next few days you will receive further news regarding the opening of accounts, deposits, withdrawals and new product offerings. If you have any questions or inquiries at this stage, please do not hesitate to contact a Finex Customer Service representative.
