Weekly Update June 29, 2007

in Post#1, Forward Test results updated June 29, 2007.

To date, 40 wins and 4 loses. Because of concern over large Float p/l in V4.0, I started a 2nd demo with Bogie-Daily-V4.1 on June 25, 2007. Below is a simple analysis of results.

Demo 1
V4.0 on FXDD results June 29, 2007;

Demo started May 23, 2007,

Deposit - $ 10,000.00 and Risk = 5%

40 wins - 4 loses
EURUSD = 7 wins, 0 loses, profit = $ 434.52
GBPUSD = 15 wins, 1 lose, profit = $ 271.73
USDCHF = 7 wins, 2 loses, profit = $ -815.53
USDJPY = 11 wins, 2 loses, profit = $ 651.21

USDCHF is a concern. And, also somewhat concerned with v4.0 on high float p/l. Hopefully, v4.1 will do better with p/l float.

Demo 2
V4.1 on FXDD results June 29,2007.

Demo started June 25, 2007.

Deposit - $ 10,000.00 and Risk = 5%

7 wins - 0 loses
EURUSD = 1 wins, 0 loses, profit = $ 37.29
GBPUSD = 1 wins, 0 lose, profit = $ 100.00
USDCHF = 1 wins, 0 loses, profit = $ 14.40
USDJPY = 4 wins, 0 loses, profit = $ 252.37

If you can find an EA that consistently makes a profit each week and each month, that is the EA where active traders should invest time and money. If you are looking for an EA that will make big profits all the time, Bogie-Daily EA is certainly not for you. This EA will have good and bad trading times as Forex Market changes from trending to ranging and back again.
