I just checked the USD/CAD chart after reading your post. I guess even an amateur like me myself has to nail one every once in a while. I'm going to spout off another prediction which in all likelihood will back-fire and send me running to the hole I crawled out of.

I'm thinking the pair will open with a 30 to 40 pip gap in your favor (north) come Sunday night. If it doesn't we should have a clear sign of whether she's still heading south by Monday (Tuesday at the latest). If the gap occurs, it's smooth sailing for a couple of weeks - at least.
