So far my maximum waiting period is 36 hours. Once my Bank of America approves the withdrawal, PayPal receives the money and transfer the money to FXDD. And then FXDD will deposit into my FXDD forex account right away.
If somehow you have some money in Paypal already, then Paypal can transfer the money to FXDD in 1 second. And then it'll take a few hours for FXDD to deposit the money to your forex account. This will cut down the time.
I don't trade the news and I don't remember the spreads but I think it's about the same with other brokers.
The main reason I chose FXDD because of PayPal. I don't want to go to the bank and wire the money. All of my deposits are from Paypal deposits.
There's no charge if you deposit by Paypal.
